Kapt'n Pupkes in Wangerland

With luck we booked the restaurant from home. And it was a direct hit! Everything (fish soup, pan fish, plate with various fish fillets as well as a "small delicacy" as dessert) was very, very tasty! The amount was also well measured, so that we were both full. What a shame that the restaurants have closed due to Corona.

My wife and I have been in Wangerland for a week ... This (from the outside a little inconspicuous) restaurant tastes better than anything! Very nice staff and MEGA delicious food! Had pork steak with crabs and S.Hollondaise- awesome! Restaurant absolutely recommendable - best to reserve in advance .... Will definitely be back (at least once) on our next Wangerland vacation! Wanted to order something to take today. Answer: I'm sorry, the kitchen can't do that. Just three meals? Sorry the shop has completely settled. Never again. Even the one star is still too many. But you can't give a rating without it.

In my view, everything went well. The food tasted good to me and the other of our guests. Outside there was a nice seat for our small group. The service was also very nice.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Had a daring combination of pork fillet with crab, mushrooms and hollandaise sauce. Was very skeptical at first, but was a real taste explosion. My wife had plaice, the best of her life. And even the dessert was fantastic. And last but not least, everything is very cheap. We recommend!

We visited the restaurant and each had a main course and a dessert. Both were great in taste and also visually very nicely arranged. We also felt very comfortable under the Corona conditions, because everything was perfect from the organization.

This beautiful eatery is quite secluded, which is the only point of criticism. You have to know that this place exists. From the outside, you can hardly imagine how beautiful the restaurant is from the inside. Traditional, rustic but tastefully furnished. Everything fits together. The service is on the ball and very friendly. The dishes are excellent and you can definitely recommend the fish here. All in all, worth the trip and recommended to everyone.

Small but very fine. Within a week we were there three times. The first time without a reservation on Sunday was unfortunately no table free. Therefore, make sure to reserve in advance. The second time we were lucky. All dishes were great. Arrangement top! Everything very delicious. Service was great and very friendly. We felt very well, so we had to go to Pupke again today on our last day of vacation. Everything is delicious again! Thanks a lot!

Home-style restaurant, from the outside rather inconspicuous, but inside nice, comfortable and modern furnishings. Food is delicious, friendly staff all good. Price-performance absolutely fair. I have never eaten such a stout schnitzel, but was totally good.

Great food! Great location, stayed with my girlfriend and she loves it too. Close to the beach - 15 minutes. Very nice handling. Always welcome! Will definitely be back. 🤗
